How accurate is the predictor?

These are estimates. Mid-parental height gives a genetic target; the data-driven projection depends on quality and number of measurements. Expect typical errors of ±6–10 cm. For clinical prediction, ask a pediatrician about bone age or the Khamis–Roche method.

What is the mid-parental formula?

For a boy: (father + mother + 13 cm) / 2. For a girl: (father + mother - 13 cm) / 2. This gives a genetic target with a typical range around ±8.5 cm.

Can I use this for medical diagnosis?

No. This is an educational tool only. It does not replace clinical evaluation.
